Descent chair bought to work from home. It was easy enough to assemble on my own. I now use it on a full time basis. I find it is comfortable and provides good back support. The adjustable armrests provide good support also and as a result my shoulder and neck pain is lessened. Very pleased with the Messina chair. The most impressive thing is the general build quality, everything feels incredibly solid and well constructed. Instructions for assembly are simple and the screws are stored in letter coded blister packs meaning step by step assembly is easy. Be warned, the chair is very heavy and so two people will be needed to assemble it completely. I needed two people to lift the product into our 2nd story apartment. Quality feels excellent and there's a huge range of adjustments. Only two minor points 1) the lumbar cushion is not fixed and falls off more often than not and 2) the covering of the actual seating part is a little "loose" and doesn't comfort to the cushioning underneath - after a week's use there's a sign of stretch in the fabric. Comfortable, easy to build, and moves very easily in the carpeted office. The headrest does have a tendency to slip down when it's not in continuous use, but that's hardly a major issue. I had a back hip injury some time ago so I need a comfortable chair. I tried using a gaming chair since the foot rest is also an option with that kind of chair. But this right here is much more comfortable. If your a short guy the footrest might not pull out enough, or might just make it, so know that. It's comfy and not hard to put together however I got this one because it was overall 60cm width however its more like 65cm. So now the chair does not fit very well under my desk due to this. Update: after having this chair for just under 10 months now I can say its a lot less comfortable and the rocking feature is very noisy makes creaking and cracking sounds constantly if you tip back a little.
