The kettle is exactly what you would expect it to be. It is light and very quick to boil. There really isn't much to say about the kettle but the delivery is another matter. It is lucky it arrived in one piece as the original packaging had obviously been crushed and there are even tyre marks on the instruction booklet. DHL had obviously repackaged it before delivery. The kettle looks good and is a nice size, not too bulky and light. I wanted a stainless steel kettle, which this is (only the lid is mostly plastic). I like the shape and the elegant comfortable handle. Performance is good. I had this kettle before. I'd like a push button for the lid but it is manual. I think all in all, the 'value for money' ratio is very good. The reason I am giving it four stars is because I still get a plastic taste from the lid after a few weeks. I remember that from before and it will most likely fade as it did with my previous one. I also think the anti-scale filter on the nozzle is a bit fiddly to get out and in.. It does make a good coffee, but only if you like a half cup of espresso , and if you want a cappuccino , it's really good, brilliant frothy milk , just don't expect to make another coffee for at least 10 minutes after using the steam wand . Looks nice and neat. Bought because recommended by Which magazine very impressed with quality and design. Pours well and no dribbles. Quiet boil compared with last kettle that sounded like a plane taking off! I like the blue glow when on. The picture of the inside shows where to fill up for 1,2 and 3 cups - the red markers.
