I purchased the red one due to offer £95. The colour was more of a burgundy which is not a problem. I don’t believe the seat is genuine leather, nor would I expect it to be at that price. I think it is more likely PU The seat pad is not thick as described or as comfortable as my last office chair. The lumber support is ok. The quality of finish, of the parts could be better. However, the chair looks good and comfortable for short periods of time for me. I would not want to work for 8 or more hours a day homeoffice on it. Easy to assemble just be careful with the back rest, leave the arm rests loose until you have all the bolts in for the back rest and tighten all together. For the money you will be hard pushed to get much better. The last one I bought from Staples was in 2015 and cost circa £175, more comfortable and that was facing leather now looked a mess, hence this purchase. I will see how it wares.. Anonymous. OMG - the most comfortable chair ever, I love it. I bought this because it can be quite low, but it goes very high compared to my other office chair and I’ve just bought an oak desk that is 80 cm high and I’m very short so I couldn’t reach it properly. Super easy to assemble, although I will say they make the instructions more complicated than necessary by saying “make sure the I is placed on the H”. Basically, when assembly the seat base, put H on and assemble, then put I on, it’s that easy. My first impressions are excellent! I'm sitting in this chair as I type this review, and I'm very comfortable. As someone who is plus size (100kg), I needed a chair that could accommodate my weight and size, and this one suits my needs. I really wanted a chair that was quite plush and well padded, so I was a little dubious at first, since there weren't any reviews to help me, but I can confirm that the chair is just as padded as the pictures suggest. Time will tell how well the cushioning lasts, but for now I'm very happy with it. The assembly was pretty straightforward, though it definitely helps if you have another person to help you out for some of it, because it's quite a heavy chair overall. The product description did mention height adjustable armrests, but I don't see how that's possible as the arm rests are fixed to the base of the chair, and there are no instructions or indications on how to raise the height of the armrests, so perhaps this was an oversight on the product listing? I'm not sure. The footrest is a really nice addition, and was one of the selling points for me. I often sit with one leg crossed and tucked under the other, which is not ideal, so I'm hoping that this will encourage better posture since I do spend a lot of time at my desk. With no way to put these back in, I was left with a chair without one armrest. I contacted Wayfair and they promptly took care of my case and resolved the issue with the manufacturer, Inbox Zero. No questions asked, no hassle. The chair itself seems very sturdy. This is my 5th chair in 3 years, all costing around the same price range. Arrived super quick! Easy to assemble! Wider than I realised but that’s actually fine because I sometimes like to sit crossed legged at the desk when I’m in my thinking mode. It feels comfortable to sit in (it’s only been a couple of days so time will tell), my favourite bit is that it swivels, again I like to swivel my chair while I’m in thinking mode . I went for the grey colour because it goes with anything, the white version I was worried about getting dirty quickly, especially with 2 very young children!! For me it was a great buy! I just got it so the 5 stars are based on new condition.I hope to get atleast 5 good years from this chair.Anyway its nice looking. looks well made with a modern design.I dont understand the complaints about putting it together.The instructions are clear and it takes about 30 minutes .Its a little firm when new but Im sure it will soften up in a couple weeks.
