DIGITAL QUIET BOIL KETTLE

I am delighted with this kettle which I bought a few months ago. It is one of the few on the market with temperature controls. We drink a variety of green teas which need different temperatures and this kettle is perfect for us. I couldn't find it in a shop (why?) so bought mail order and it came very quickly. It is as described, was on special offer, and it also looks good and has a small footprint. Perfect!

Bought in February didn't really use the water variable temp thing. Too many buttons. Now lid has broken the design of lid realise on two tiny millimetre pieces of plastic- totally rubbish

Works like a charm, very handy temperature setting. A lot cheaper than other kettles with the same feature.

I love this kettle. I drink black tea and coffee, so it is ideal that I can set the temperature to less than 100C. But best of all is that the kettle is so quiet. It is a daily pleasure

I was shocked and appalled when I used this kettle for the first time. When tipped up to pour out water, scalding steam was emitted from the rear edge of the (fully closed) top directly into my fingers. It could have caused a very serious accident. This happens every time. I don't know whether it is a design fault or poor quality control. Further negative points: The digital selection. is an unnecessary complication that does not really bring much in normal use. The lid has to be held at a recessed lip on top – far less well-designed than previous kettles. In summary, this is an extremely poor design – far inferior to my previous quiet Russell Hobbs kettle. I regret my purchase.
