When I started constructing this piece of furniture I noted that there were a couple of chips in the veneer. I was unhappy with this but decided I didn't think they were unsightly enough to warrant returning the whole piece of furniture. I complained through Wayfair and Birlea who produce the item responded very quickly and professionally. I discussed with them what I felt a reasonable fair resolution would would be and they agreed immediately without argument. I feel the level of customer service was very good (particularly compared to recent experiences I've had with other furniture retailers such as Sofology), and I would happily buy other products from them in future. This is my son’s toy storage and it works fantastic. Everything is at an easily accessible height and his toys can be organised into type and placed into drawers. So far so good… I bought this and the matching chest of drawers. The packaging seemed to take a fair beating but all in tack for this… the chest of drawers was not so lucky! Fairly simple to put together and seems sturdy enough. I’d say it’s a bit lighter in colour than the picture conveys.
