We are currently awaiting the replacement part, which is being shipped from America and is expected to arrive within several weeks. Solid piece of furniture and all the parts fit well. One snag was that I felt that the hinge lid opened uncontrollably to the vertical position and then it was quite difficult to close it. I like the the design and the principle of operation. We just assembled and put it into use a week ago, so have not seen results yet. The composter arrived quickly but was quite difficult to assemble. The two bins seem to slide back and forth on their support shaft a bit too freely, so my husband inserted a spacer to stabilze them and make it easier to lock them into position. Excellent useful table. It has two height settings. I have given four stars because at the higher height it has a slight wobble. I’m using mine with an ironing press. At the lower setting it doesn’t move much. I can sit comfortably to press clothes. I also use it for folding laundry. I will use it outside in summer with a table cloth. The packaging was fantastic and instructions were simple to understand. I assembled the dome by myself but found that, unless you have a deep socket you will need a ring spanner or adjustable. I purchased some tube end caps as they are not supplied, I didn’t want little fingers getting into the cavity. The cavity was also filling with rain water and not draining out. Dried and a spray of WD then capped should prolong the life of the nuts and bolts. See photos and it finishes the dome. You will need 25mm caps and I paid £4.18 for 20 but you only need 16. I bought this as wanted somewhere I could easily store my garden sofa cushions in so it needed to be big enough and water tight. This box is MASSIVE. At first I thought it was too big but it is the perfect size to fit all my cushions in. It isn’t the prettiest of boxes (I call it the coffin) but I was limited by the dimensions of where I could put it and it sits behind the garden sofa so you don’t actually see it.
