It would be nice to have better instructions it is not workable the steps are all over the place and kept falling apart I ended up having to put all the iron work on first to hold it together before putting top and bottom on this part is not good the metal work is just the same I will have to devise a similar method to do so not happy once made it looks good it mite last a couple years before metal work rust away.

A fantastic item and easy to put together. Just what I needed, a large rotating composter. Takes up minimum space required but has large capacity for all your garden waste.

Easy use, smooth slider, but quite a build - worth the effort in the end!

These compost bins are certainly robust and well-made. They look big enough to hold the scraps from a restaurant so I have no doubt that our household scraps will be accommodated. The set doesn't come already assembled. It was a day's work for my husband to put the whole shebang together. He even had to get the electric drill out for it. But a drill bit was provided. Don't know how they work yet.

We bought it on October 2025. It takes a lot of patience and time to put it together. After using it for 4 months, it does not have enough aeration to create the environment for worms to thrive. No worms = no compost. We've been composting in our California backyard for 20 years. Our 2 plastic bins were finally past repair. The Lifetime being elevated is a great concept, but it desperately needs a lot more air. We put a good amount of plant matter, etc. in one of the bins - instead of going from slightly smelly to no odor (this is a sign the worms are doing their job), it just smelled, there no worms - I had put a lot of worms in to get it started. It just smelled like rotting material. Compost when it is finished, has no odor. The Lifetime also has several rust spots which given the weight of the barrel when full, is disconcerting. I now prop the doors open so it gets more air - that takes away the heat it needs to make compost. It is a great concept with a serious design flaw.
