The bed is nice and sturdy. To turn on the lights simply lift the lamp. The only downside is that when you close the bedside table it doesn’t go down all the way because it’s too close to the bed. I was a bit dubious about buying this bed at first, as I wasn’t sure I’d be able to put it together myself with there being so many pieces. It did take me approximately eight hours to assemble, but the instructions were pretty straightforward and everything I needed was included — there was nothing missing.
