The mattress came with its own tool to cut the plastic off. As I got halfway through cutting the plastic the mattress sprung to life. Absolutely in love with this mattress, it’s thicker than I expected and super comfy! Definitely worth the money. Only down side for me was he delivery, it came quicker but as it’s boxed and I love up 1 set of stairs the drivers wouldn’t lift it up the stairs for me. It was physically far too heavy for me to lift on my own, so It had to stay at the bottom of my stairs for hours until a family member could come and help. The product is a total disappointment-3 months after purchasing it, the middle of the mattress has developed a severe dip in the middle, possibly due to collapsed springs, resulting in back pain/ posture problems.
