My hybrid essential mattress is only 20 cm deep, which makes it feel a bit firmer compared to a 30 cm model. But it provides comfortable support and my body feels well rested in the morning. On a king size 2 people can sleep without feeling that the geometry of the martess top is altered by the weight of another, with is often the case with softer sprung mattresses. Very high quality and huge improvement compared to the metal spring model.
