I purchased this united used on FB market place. The original purchaser provided a link to the product help me make the decision to buy this less than 1 year old outdoor storage box. I had looked at a number of new and used products. The criteria I used, steel supports on the lid to support seat function, pneumatics to support lid lift and overall solid construction. Wife thought looks was important also. This unit met all of the criteria. I didn't put the unit together so didn't have any of the pains that two of the reviewers posted in the reviews. Totally adequate for my needs, but a few things to be aware of: 1. The box it is delivered in is super heavy 2. Putting it together is awkward - it helps to be tall to reach the inside screws 3. The screw threads are not well machined so you may need to power through areas of cross-threading 4. The standard Allen Key wrench is, for almost every bolt, positioned next to an edge or a block, and therefore you will be screwing in 1/4 turns for most bolts. 5. The inner lining is ‘generously’ sized so while it goes in pretty easily, it isn’t ‘tight’ - which means that the zips require two hands to open Looks good and will work for my needs, though, so am happy with it.. I bought this as wanted somewhere I could easily store my garden sofa cushions in so it needed to be big enough and water tight. This box is MASSIVE. At first I thought it was too big but it is the perfect size to fit all my cushions in. It isn’t the prettiest of boxes (I call it the coffin) but I was limited by the dimensions of where I could put it and it sits behind the garden sofa so you don’t actually see it.
