I like the the design and the principle of operation. We just assembled and put it into use a week ago, so have not seen results yet. The composter arrived quickly but was quite difficult to assemble. The two bins seem to slide back and forth on their support shaft a bit too freely, so my husband inserted a spacer to stabilze them and make it easier to lock them into position. Once put together, allow at least 3 hours, lots of pieces. Instructions are good and easy to follow. Love the finished product but now just have to be patient to see the results of all the leaves from our hedge composted. Poor product. I will never try one again. I followed the instructions properly and had a window wide open near it but my home smelt like a rubbish tip. I had to open up the back door but I still couldn’t get rid of the smell for a couple of days. I only ran it with vegetable peelings and fruit skins, no meat or bones. It would be nice to have better instructions it is not workable the steps are all over the place and kept falling apart I ended up having to put all the iron work on first to hold it together before putting top and bottom on this part is not good the metal work is just the same I will have to devise a similar method to do so not happy once made it looks good it mite last a couple years before metal work rust away..
