The rug was rolled and delivered in plastic covering. It arrived within a few days of ordering by DHL. I bought this rug for its green colour so it didn't disappoint. The size is also perfect for the room. At the moment, the carpet doesn't lie totally flat but I'm sure that it will lie perfectly flat after a couple of days and when I put the anti-slip mat under it.. Mina. Wallingford, GB.
