About This Product

Give your console table or sofa the perfect perch with this stylish and understated area rug. It's handmade in India from jute for a textured touch and showcases a subtle off-white hue that blends in easily with any color palette. The medium 1.25cm pile height works great in low-traffic areas of the house like the living room or bedroom and is easy to vacuum when it comes time for a pick-me-up. Wherever you place this piece, we recommend pairing it with a rug pad to keep it from slipping and sliding.

Features

Jute is flexible and hard-wearing bast fibre. Jute fibres are long, lustrous, resilient and softer to the touch. It has a natural colour in light tan to a brown range and its fibre can be bleached and can be dyed well.

I love the hint of different times in the rug. I ordered another one for a different area as well. My only complaint is that the edges seem like they might not last with wear and tear.

A soft versatile rug. I was worried jute would be rough like Seagrass, but clearly I was uninformed. It is soft and sturdy, and looks rustic and elegant at the same time. Some extraneous ends on the edges of the rug, but otherwise good value.
