The pictures can't compare to the in-person true beauty of these dishes! They are just stunning! I bought these to mix/match with the Vancasso Bonita, solid color plates, also by Vancasso. And I am very pleased. The colors just pop out with the combination. I took pics on my kitchen island and then removed the background to share how pretty they are. We were a bit dubious about buying something that didn't have any reviews on it but decided to go ahead since it seemed to be the only crockery set that was the size (of plates etc) that we wanted, was chip resistant, scratch resistant, dish washer proof, microwave proof and oven proof. We ordered three sets and so far only one has arrived - the other two have been lost in transit - probably due to a mixture of Brexit and Covid-19! However the set that has arrived is excellent - a very nice pattern with a nice feel to them. The soup bowls and small plates are primarily blue with a white pattern, the small plates and mugs are the opposite. I did drop a glass onto one of the mugs and it chipped it unfortunately (but I think that any ceramic mug would have chipped in that case). As for the two missing sets, I have no complaints about the way that Wayfair have dealt with the problem. They have responded to emails very quickly (certainly within 24 hours) and seem to be doing their best to either find them or re-order them (they have just sent an email saying that they are being re-ordered). My dinner set arrived safely, and much quicker than expected, it was very well packaged which I was pleased about. It’s truly beautiful, and compliments the table at any serving. I like the idea that it’s happy in any kitchen environment too, from freezer to oven, microwave to dishwasher, no faffing, it goes anywhere and looks beautiful no matter where it is.
