Milk Jugs & Sugar Bowls

This set of a milk jug and sugar pot is white porcelain with a lovely shine and have a spotty band highlighted with a silver band. The handles are a good size and feel very sturdy as well as being the right size for the aesthetical look. The milk jug holds enough milk for 4-6 cups of tea and there is plenty of space for sugar or cubes. This would make a lovely set to give as an engagement, wedding or anniversary set along with the rest of the tea making items. It would be great for several people to get together to purchase a whole set.

The watercolour effect on the pristine white porcelain is striking and pretty, enhanced by gold banding on the rim. The gold extends into the watercolour daubs like stems. Both pieces feel delicate, light, and well made. The sugar pot lid feels particularly fine. They are also both practical and easy to use. The jug pours well without any excess droplets, the pot has a big enough opening for a teaspoon and a decent capacity unless you're particularly partial to sugar.

Lovely addition to the home, this Sara Miller London Portmeirion cream jug is just the right size for adding a dash of milk to teas and coffees at afternoon tea. I have a set of dishes that are somewhat similar to the Sara Miller Chelsea pattern. Having a need to complete the set with the creamer and sugar bowl, I found this pattern fit fine.
