I purchased this particular one as it was to replaced an electric fire , we are renovating our home and we are currently living in a mobile home , so it basically fit right into the space and nothing more needed . At first i didn’t know what to think I didn’t feel a huge blast of heat from it although it looked well . Now I love it and so happy with it . With its modern and contemporary black finish the Adam Calda has all the brilliance of a real, open flame fire thanks to the stainless steel bio ethanol burner. The fire can provide a heat output of up to 3kW depending on the size of the aperture, the burner provides a capacity of 1.5ltrs for your bio ethanol liquid fuel. The fire is also supplied with a tool in which will allow you to safely adjust the flame effect as well as to extinguish the flame when the fire is no longer needed to be in use. Please do note that the Adam Calda is not compatible with gel bio ethanol fuel and you must not place and objects or obstruct/cover the opening of the burner.

Still waiting for it to be delivered! Ordered it on 18th December as a Christmas present and it’s still showing as being in Italy. It has now been reduced in price which is annoying. Update fire delivered on 11th Jan after being reordered by Wayfair. It’s a beautiful fire - small big enough to generate enough heat to heat a small living room. Stunning fire, really easy to put together by myself and didn’t take long at all. There’s just one quite alarming design flaw with it and that is the design of the fire and the handle that you use to extinguish the fire. You cannot slide the plate across without potentially burning yourself as the glass panel is in the way. We are going to try and change the handle to enable us to slide it across from the side.
