Adam 51cm W Stainless Steel Bio-Ethanol Fireplace Insert with 6000 BTU

Still waiting for the trim as the delivery people didnt deliver it. He got 1 box mixed up with someone else. Stated redelivery today, but nothing at 15.25. Who knew a fire came in 3 pieces ‍♀️. Instructions are atrocious, supposed to be no assembly required yet I spent 2 hours trying to work out why my fire didnt look finished off

I purchased this particular one as it was to replaced an electric fire , we are renovating our home and we are currently living in a mobile home , so it basically fit right into the space and nothing more needed . At first i didn’t know what to think I didn’t feel a huge blast of heat from it although it looked well . Now I love it and so happy with it . It definitely warms the room up after 30 mins of so without having the central heating on all the time . It works well for me and my needs for now and I am really happy with it .

I chose this to replace an electric fire, as I loved the idea of a real flame, and something that would provide a little heat in the event of a power failure. I'm really pleased!! There isn't an inch of shiny tacky plastic in sight, so already it's an improvement over the old electric one in my living room! The colour is a dark matte grey rather than black. It looks sturdy and nicely finished. One part arrived damaged from delivery, but Wayfair and the manufacturer sorted it out promptly and with no fuss. I have used it twice now. The flame is attractive, and it does put out a modest amount of heat. I keep the living room door open to ensure a good supply of air, and there is a new carbon monoxide alarm in the room for safety. It does create a smell as it burns, which is rather reminiscent of a high school chemistry lab. But it's not strong and not unpleasant by my standards. Worth it for the advantages!
