The clock is bigger than I expected but is good to look at on the mantle piece. It tells the correct time too which is an improvement on the similar antique one I had to replace as it gave up the ghost. I had a mantle clock which was 70 years old and one of the winding springs failed. It wasn't worth repairing because of its age.
