This is not normal wallpaper. Think of it as really thick printer paper and you won't be far off. It isn't thick like wallpaper and therefore despite what the description says it's not great for covering up any lumps and bumps. I was a bit disappointed when it arrived (delivery was ahead of schedule so I was happy with that) and didn't have high hopes as I was expecting something more like normal wallpaper. The roll had nice divisions with plenty of room to show you where to cut and each piece is numbered and has arrows to show which way is up which was really helpful. You paste the wall and not the paper. I had to trim my paper as the size ordered was bigger than my wall (each end and the bottom removed) which made a bit more work but for me gave a better end result than a smaller mural on a larger wall. Now I'm not a complete beginner at wallpapering but neither am I a seasoned expert.... definitely put myself in the intermediate category. Given the nature of the paper I found this infinitely easier to put up with 2 people (one holding roll of paper so it didn't just fall down into your pasted wall) but then maybe I'm just not the most coordinated of people.... I did find that in places the pattern wasn't a perfect match (the match immediately above/below being fine but some bits just didn't seem to match up 100%). Also it is very easy to crease as shown in photo 3 (I'm hoping a marker pen will remove the worst of these) and this removed the ink from the paper where creased. However looking at the room overall the creases/marks aren't that noticeable in the big picture... I've not attempted a mural before and did have doubts before buying this as it's not the cheapest, however once I saw it I fell in love with the design so chanced it... Would I buy again??? Yes. It wasn't as easy as normal wallpaper, and it was much easier once I drafted a second person in to assist. The creasing does annoy me but some will have been down to me trimming whilst on the wall... Overall I do love the end result and think definitely worth the effort and money. The colours are as I expected which is a definite win.. Paula. Wolverhampton, GB. Mon Sep 23 2019

New colors, new format! JULIE FEELS HOME is not just a lot of colour, but a completely new format. That a design wallpaper can be combined with a plain is nothing new. At JULIE FEELS HOME there is another option. Julia refers to them as the Twin Wall. A Twin Wall is a wallpaper that is both and combines design and plain in itself. Everyone decides for themselves how much design and how much uni they want to have on their own wall. A breath of fresh air for your home. What else distinguishes JULIE FEELS HOME from other colored wallpapers? Clearly her sophisticated finish! Each wallpaper is finished with Ultragold and shimmers particularly elegantly. Even more individuality, even more color, even more shine - that's JULIE FEELS HOME and it looks fantastic at Julia's home. And we're sure you will too! A tribute to our designer. Julie . . . this is our Juliet. Julia is a designer at Hohenberger and she loves colour. That's why we couldn't help it and simply had to name this collection after her. Julia has seen many living and decoration trends come and go. And tried it myself. So she's an expert and knows what's hot. JULIE FEELS HOME is her heart project. The first designs were actually only intended for her own home. For this she colored floral designs in her favorite colors and completely inspired us. We couldn't keep that to ourselves. And that's why JULIE FEELS HOME is now a whole collection and there for everyone.

Classicly pretty and simplistic, this design turns a quintessentially English rose design into something more contemporary and inspiring. A retro polka dot backdrop hosts Alice in Wonderland inspired illustrations peeking through charming florals.

Ombre colour fades from dark to light in this conceptual design creating an almost misty feel to the mural, whilst mottled colour adds a distressed quality.

The open sea in perpetual motion, rendered entirely in fine engraved line. Wave after wave builds, crests and breaks across the entire surface — each one individually drawn, individually shaped, its white foam cap caught at the precise moment of maximum energy before the collapse. The line work is meticulous and hypnotic: thousands of parallel curves following the body of each wave, building volume and movement through accumulation alone, with no colour and no shading beyond the density and direction of the marks themselves. The palette is steel blue and white — the blue of the open Atlantic on a clear winter day, of Japanese woodblock prints, of the sea as it appears in the imagination of those who have always lived near it and those who have always longed to. The white foam crests are the only interruption in the continuous blue field, and they are what give the composition its rhythm, its energy and its extraordinary sense of actual water moving at actual speed across an actual surface. This design exists in a direct conversation with Hokusai and the great Japanese wave print tradition — not as imitation but as inheritance. The same understanding that the sea is not a backdrop but a subject; the same conviction that line, applied with patience and intelligence, can capture the movement of water more truly than any photograph. A wall that becomes a horizon, a room that opens onto the sea. Exceptional in bedrooms, bathrooms, living rooms, hallways and coastal interiors where the ocean is not merely a reference but a presence felt in every element of the space.

Surround yourself with an intricate, nature inspired mural. It has a homely but crisp design, therefore perfect for introducing to rooms like your bedroom or lounge where you want to relax and unwind. The influence of the bird and flower genre of Japanese woodblock prints can clearly be seen in this beautiful design. The birds and foliage sits on a matte background with a smooth texture. This beautiful design is sure to add a touch of elegance to any room you choose to hang it.

Step into a storybook with this patchwork mural featuring Alice in Wonderland inspired illustrations, retro patterns and block colours. This contemporary take on a traditional theme evokes curiosity and adds a touch of character to your space.

Dream you're in a distant land with the TROPICAL Collection by Hohenberger. Fishes in the jungle, corals in a blaze of color and a heavenly rain of flowers - exotic and very imaginative, somehow surreal, a little bizarre too - this is the impression you get from the new TROPICAL Collection by the Hohenberger wallpaper manufacturer. The motifs from the plant and animal world can be found again in murals and wallpapers and match perfectly with the soft plain colors, hand-painted ornaments and beautiful chalk matte wall colors that we also have to offer. TROPICAL gives you a desire for color and going on holidays, it satisfies the feeling of wanderlust and makes you crave other countries and feel-good locations. Shades of blue and green are reminiscent of water and palm trees. Accents of pink, violet and brick red make it both powerful and very decorative. And if you want to bring the exotic into your home but with more subtle colors, you can opt for the fantastic motifs in neutral grey and beige shades. It always has the effect of making you feel you're in a far-off land.

The Amalfi Coast in Southern Italy lures tourists with its vivid colours and a magical view of the Tyrrhenian Sea.

Great quality and easy instructions to follow.. Kim. Clarkston Glasgow, GB. Sat Mar 08 2025

This abstract design depicts a grungy, industrial surface. Washed and mottled colour lend itself to a distressed yet organic aesthetic, fading from dark to light in an ombre effect.

Ombre colour fades from dark to light in this conceptual design creating an almost misty feel to the mural, whilst mottled colour adds a distressed quality.

Humpback whales rise and dive through a stormy ocean rendered entirely in fine engraved line — wave upon wave of white-crested water, built up with the patience and precision of a 19th-century maritime illustrator, filling the entire surface with movement, rhythm and the overwhelming scale of the open sea. The palette is all steel blue, slate grey and cold white, with the whales themselves appearing in warm taupe — the only warmth in an otherwise elemental composition. The waves are the true subject here. Each one is individually drawn, individually crested, individually alive — and together they create a surface that seems to breathe and shift as the light changes across it. The whales move through this world with the unhurried authority of creatures that belong to it entirely: surfacing, arching, disappearing beneath the surface again, indifferent to the drama of the water around them. There is something genuinely sublime about this design — in the original sense of the word, the sense that combines beauty with a force larger than the human. It transforms a wall into a horizon. Exceptional in bedrooms, bathrooms, living rooms, children's rooms and coastal interiors where the sea is not just a reference but a presence.

This wear-resistant, and scratch wall mural is a wonderful wall decoration. With its wonderful design every room can be decorated wonderfully. Paste should be used for mounting. They can be mounted in every room (even bathrooms or in the kitchen). They have a glossy coating and prevent damage to the wall. They bring your walls to life. The print is extremely long lasting.

Looks good but haven’t put it up yet. Anonymous. Sun Sep 13 2026

Fresh and energising, this joyful design will breathe life into your space with overlapping, large-scale palm leaves creating layered shadows and dimension.

The pattern is fabulous. The colours and texture is exactly as advertised. However, after being professionally installed by a decorator , each of the strips of wall paper shrunk back and also showed an exposed edge which can be clearly seen. So as you look at the wall , there is not a seamless join on the mural and, instead, white lines can be seen at every join. Hence the 3 star review. Otherwise, love the design. Sarah. Romford, GB. Sun Jun 29 2025

Highlighting the texture of traditional wooden cladding, the washed effect on natural materials introduces an organic and raw feel to this design, whilst contrasting shadowing and light create dramatic interest.

The worst paper I have ever seen. If I could zero stars, I would! Looks nothing like the picture, very dark and shaded black and looks awful when up. More like a cheap wallpaper than a mural. Even decorater said it’s so mismatched, the numbers on the cuts don’t match the lines fully and some go way off with horrible colour mismatch. Hated it that much that asked to be stripped off as soon as it was up. Waste of time and money but it was hideous and resembles decking and burnt out sheds when up. Avoid if you want anything that looks like the picture, it’s nowhere near and you will be extremely disappointed!. Shahida. Thu Apr 02 2026
