The Tree of Life wall hanging, also known as L'Arbre de Vie, Stoclet Frieze in French, was painted in 1909 by Art Nouveau artist Gustav Klimt. This pattern was originally a study for a series of mosaics commissioned for the Palais Stoclet in Brussels. Done in rich, warm colours, this piece presents the traditional Tree of Life bearing fruit and birds, but in a flowing, spiraling nouveau style. Art Nouveau Design.

Features

Genuine woven fabric made from threads - On each square inch of fabric, the tapestry has 80 wefts and 170 warps which is equivalent to 20 feet of cotton thread.
This woven wall art is made from 100% natural fiber cotton providing a rich, tactile look and feel. The wall hanging comprises a back lining (100% cotton) and includes a top pocket for a hanging rail and a bottom pocket for a metal rod to allow the art to hang flat.
