The squared shape of the chair and footrest and round side table are a simple and unfussy design for life's simple pleasures - sitting outside, birdsong, a book and a drink! The set is constructed from sturdy powder coated metal in a soft shade, with matching PE rattan details and plump cream fabric cushions to support you in comfort. The metal table has a deep outer lip to stop anything from slipping off, and 'handle' detail to the centre, giving it a decidedly industrial look. It rests of 4 sturdy legs with cross bar beneath with anti-slip feet. The frame and table are UV and weather resistant so shouldn't fade. The cushions are splash proof (so if any spills occur, pick up the cushion and give it a firm pat on the underside to encourage the droplets to roll off). However, the cushions should not be left outside or in damp conditions. Store them somewhere warm and dry. If they do get wet then allow them to fully dry in the sun or somewhere warm before you store them. This set includes a FREE water resistant cover but please note, this is not fully waterproof and you should still store your cushions somewhere dry during wet weather and through winter. Nice looking chairs. I would buy them again at this price point. Not nearly as difficult to assemble as I thought they’d be based on other reviews. Second chair took me about 15 minutes. That said, I found one out of sight but important wooden piece to be badly cracked upon unpacking the boxes, which I was easily able to repair with clear-dry glue. Also one single wood slat was more darkly stained than all the others, but since I put cushions on the chairs you can’t see it so doesn’t bother me. You can tell these are budget chairs for those reasons and because the pieces that are assembled at the factory use glue and staples in some places instead of wood screws. Also, nowhere on any packaging, paperwork or materials does it say “Ermont by Loon Peak”. Everything is labeled Furinno. That's very misleading, as there are Furinno products on another online marketplace that receive very bad reviews and, as a result, I probably would not have purchased these chairs if I had known I was buying a Furinno product. But my wife and daughter gave me compliments about the appearance once I was finished building them so all is right in the world. Now here's to hoping they hold up to the Arizona heat.. Scott. For the money it's OK because similar loungers can be double the price. I like the covered phone compartment complete with padlock though not sure that's needed in your back garden :) My gripe was the condition it arrived in. Box was fine but the chair looked like it had done 2 rounds with a carpark. Filthy dirty and sides full of scratches. The photos do not do justice to the condition. Just how can it be so dirty and scratched. It's a shame because it really is a decent lounger for money. Fingers crossed yours is clean and Mark free. I can't load photos because it says wrong file.
