A sturdy steel frame wrapped in practical and popular PE rattan, with the legs of the chair and footrest being powder-coated steel. The cushions are seriously squidgy with 12cm to sink into for seat and back cushions. Take some time for yourself in your own little private zen den with the chair. The chair frame and footstool are UV and weather-resistant so shouldn't fade. The cushions are splashproof (so if any spills occur, pick up the cushion and give it a firm pat on the underside to encourage the droplets to roll off). However, the cushions should not be left outside or in damp conditions. Store them somewhere warm and dry. Chairs took longer to arrive than expected. I ordered 2 chairs with silver trim. One was in a box which said it was black. The other one in a box saying silver had a black trim. We had trouble getting the chairs out of the boxes and the stools were difficult to get loose from the chairs.
