This set comes in 2 pieces that support the umbrella or parasol but we do recommend using 4 pieces for full support. This is an essential purchase when buying a parasol to get ultimate use and to enjoy the summer months. To weigh a parasol evenly 2 sets are required (4 segments). As with any product when rubbing against a rough surface material may transfer. If your patio or decking is light in colour we recommend using a liner between the umbrella base and the ground.

The base accommodates most parasol poles through a 4.8-cm aluminium sleeve and includes two adapters (3.8-cm & 4.8-cm) for a universal fit.

As always the product arrived right when promised. The base,made from molded plastic,is cleverly molded to hold all the pieces needed to assemble. Spaces where the wheels go and especially where the wheels with brakes go are clearly visible. Very nice leaf type pattern on the base. All tools, one screwdriver, and screws are provided.
