The pergola turned out great. Only a few minor manufacturing errors in one of the connection points, but we were able to work around it. Also, the plastic rings connecting the two leg parts were difficult to make work at first. There was no issue with these specific parts. The pergola was overall easy to assemble. It was just tedious with to many bolts, probably took about 5 hours total. Would take less with 2 people. 2 people are definitely needed to assemble. The pergola is super sturdy and well made. We bolted it right on to the deck. It rained last night so I can say it prevents water from leaking through the top which is a nice addition to our deck. 1010 recommend for the price and convenience.
