Tower T978532 Kamado XL Ceramic Charcoal BBQ with Collapsible Wooden Shelves, Black

I bought the Tower XL egg vs other more famous ceramic green BBQ eggs , as the cost point was much better. The other eggs on the market were as much as £2k! The Tower XL egg is a very well made piece of kit. Is carefully delivered to you in strong protective wrapping. Its a solid unit that looks and feels like a premium product. I have used it multiple times since i bought it and it is great. Watched a few online tutorials in regards to grilling vs slow cooking and once you get used to operating the vents it is easy. The main reason why this is a 4 star and not a 5 it does not come with all the kit for slow cooking. The slow cook/smoke meats you need to have a deflector plate to enable in-direct cooking. I am flabbergasted for such a premium product they have missed this ; plus still claiming you can slow cook. Luckily there are deflectors on the market that you can use, even though they size they are for other eggs they fit this one. Nice piece of kit! I've been a problem solver in the building trade for 40 years and agree with some of the reviews that say its a little complicated to put together. I'm a hands on tradesman so I could imagine if your not use to manual construction this bbq would be a bit of a problem to understand.
