Rowlinson Alderley Cold Frame

I think these were probably quite well made for most of their production stages. BUT at some point they decided to attach the hinge to the lid before they left the factory: at this stage the product was ruined. Hinges are being put onto the lids wonky and/or in such a way that the wood underneath is split... one of mine had a screw that was three times the length of the other hinge screws put in at a 45 degree angle (so its clear "bodging it" is a more of a thing than "quality control" in these factories). I ordered three of these and Ive unpacked two so far- I still dont have enough decent lids for one cold frame. Im not particularly well and I have wasted a lot of my "spoons" (if you have a fatigue illness you will get the reference) unpacking and repacking boxes.

The second year used,still like the day it arrived.
