I’ve used the half moon cast iron grill once so far, I like it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This accessory truly shines in combination with the Big Joe's massive size and the two-tier rack. My go-to setup involves putting the griddle on the upper rack (for indirect heat) using the flat side up. This is exactly how I heat my sides, just as I mentioned: buns, tortillas, and quesadillas come out perfectly. The heavy cast iron absorbs the gentle, smoky heat from below, creating a perfectly consistent, non-stick warming plate that doesn't scorch or dry out the delicate bread products. It essentially acts as a gentle oven on the upper level while the main grilling happens below.
