I love the sustained heat smoking controls for long cooks and ample surface area for large quantities of meat/vegetables. It pairs very well with my Joe Jr.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Honestly the best grill I've had because it is not gas and lets me control the temp easily with heat shields and grate height. I installed it with a Ash and Amber teak table, which needed a little modification, but looks great now!

Build quality is fantastic. I put it through its paces last week with a slow and low smoked plate ribs, smoked almonds, reverse seared tritip and corn on the cob- with temps ranging from 225 to 550 - all in one session! My visiting buddies were impressed. I was asked why I chose Joe over competitors. I pointed to the top dial and explained "This one goes to 11."
