The item I bought is lovely but the delivery leaves a lot to be desired. The company who delivered my item wasn’t the best shall we say. I live on a street which means nothing can be left outside. Because it could and has in the past, been taken. The company in question was Evri . If you have seen or read reviews about this company they are not that good. The only good thing they did left me a text message telling me they would be delivering between 7 am 9.30 which was a bit awkward because I was in work so I thought I had better leave work early to be there for them. I have a ring doorbell so I can watch some deliver and answer if necessary, but to my surprise they didn’t even ring the bell. He just left the item right outside my front door in view of everyone and he was hammering down with rain as well, which meant my item get wet so as soon as I seen this on my doorbell. I rushed home but lucky enough my parcel was still there but he was soaking wet so I opened a box to check everything inside was okay and luckily enough it was but I rang Wayfair customer services to tell them what happened and to be honest, they were fantastic. They said a refund of 25 off my item which covered me for lost money which I had lost for coming home early. And I’ve also left notes on my account to tell anyone who is delivering to my address in the future to call me 1st to arrange delivery and they also put an extra 10 for future orders so anybody thinking of buying from Wayfair don’t hesitate and hopefully the same doesn’t happen to you .this such a shame because my TV cabinet is lovely and fits perfectly . Sometimes the measure of a business is not how it worked when things go smoothly, but when things go (a liitle) wrong. I ordered the above unit and it came by 3.30 the following day. Much to our disappointment, when it was unpacked we found it was damaged. Following a call to Wayfair, I was informed the unit would be picked up the next day and replaced as soon as possible. The person on the phone was reassuring and efficient. The unit was collected at 9.00 the following morning and 5 days later we received a perfect replacement. We actually delayed delivery as my husband's birthday intervened. I love the unit, it is well made and modern in appearance. If I had ordered a similar one locally it would have had to wait 6 weeks.. Ok unit, not the best quality for the money. The top looks thick but is hollowed out. Some screws don't grab and keep turning inside the wood, as i notice a couple were very loose. The shelf sizes are the same as what was advertised meaning my xbox doesn't fit. Small mark on the top of the unit. Delivered in good time and extremely well packaged. The table is well made out of solid wood and fits my 55” tv perfectly. It’s got a nice dark wood finish and looks quite rustic but has a smooth finish to it.
