The Prestow uses a simple butterfly mechanism - gently pull on either end of the table to 'open' the sliding mechanism and reveal the extension piece concealed under the top. Received this table and was not happy that the measurements was not correct for the space I needed it for when we set it up in the description it says 90x120 which is not the case it is actually 90x140 Extending to 90x190 please update your website of 90x140 NOT 90x120 Wanted to send it back but had to just work with it as packaging was really damaged by us opening it and did not want the hassle the table itself was easy to set up. Poor quality for price. It is reclaimed wood, but you still expect a finished surface. The table top is rough and snags clothes, saw marks still visible and it is very uneven. I searched shops and trawled the Internet for weeks, to find a table small enough for my kitchen, before I found Wayfair. I was hesitant to order the table from them, because it wasn't something I could return easily without expense. However I discovered they have an office in Ireland, which was reassuring. I couldn't be more impressed with the table I received for the price I paid. It is exactly as described and I'm delighted with it. The service was excellent, with regular updates on the delivery status, even down to the time on the day it was delivered, and it was delivered within a fortnight.
