It’s deep and raises the height of my bed quite significantly which is what I was looking for. It is softer than I was expecting but ok so far for sleeping on. The sides hold their shape well, the tufting is soft and springy also the stitching and finish are superb. It is also reversible for maximum comfort and longevity.
