Very disappointing experience with Wayfair mattresses. I ordered two foam mattresses (king and double) and specifically explained to the phone consultant that I wanted something similar to a previous mattress I had purchased from Wayfair, which was good quality. Unfortunately, the phone consultant clearly did not understand the request and sent very thin mattresses – around half the depth and significantly poorer quality than expected. Both mattresses were completely unsuitable and had to be returned. I placed the order via phone specifically to avoid errors, as the exact SKU from my previous order was out of stock — making the incorrect items even more frustrating. The returns process was equally frustrating. I was told: - A direct replacement was not possible - I would need to accept Wayfair credit and reorder - Or pay a £40 return fee if I wanted a refund to my original payment method When I asked what would happen if the replacement was incorrect again, there was no clear answer or reassurance and I was. told nothing can be done then. At that point, I had no confidence in reordering. I chose to pay the £40 just to resolve the issue and purchased my mattresses elsewhere instead. This is a quality children's mattress containing 5 layers of comfort fillings over a 13.5 gauge open coil spring unit and covered in hardwearing check fabric. The mattress has been designed to be specifically dual-sided and we advise you to rotate or turn over your mattress regularly for the best results and to keep your mattress in pristine condition so you can enjoy long-lasting comfort. With our new innovative in-house technology, the mattress will be vacuum-packed. We recommend that you do not leave the mattress rolled and boxed for more than 7 days after receipt. Vacuum-packed mattresses do not have side supports, therefore prolonged sitting on the edge of the mattress is not recommended.

I’m extremely pleased with this mattress. I’ve always slept on extra-firm mattresses, so I was slightly concerned that the memory foam layer on top might make it too soft. The top of the mattress is padded with a natural cashmere and wool blended which helps to regulate temperature meaning the mattress will not get too hot. This is supplemented by an airflow system with vents on all sides to expel warm and moist air. With traditional side support and generous side stitching, the mattress will keep its shape even when you are sitting on the edge. As with all traditional fillings, the mattress will feel slightly firmer at first and should over the course of a couple of weeks settle into a medium feel.
