Seen the mix reviews, pretty much agree.
I think it’s always down to personal preference.
My main bed has a mattress with a memory foam topper included, which is ideal for me.
I purchased a mattress for my toddler on Wayfair and can feel springs, hence buying this topper.
Ideally, I wanted a firm topper, but wasn’t sure about a memory foam, so I went for this.
My toddler already sleeps on top of the duvet with a blanket over, and yes, this is similar to having a duvet.
It has the square pattern to prevent it becoming uneven, but I find it is a little bit on the lumpy bumpy side.
I haven’t slept in this bed with my toddler yet, but overall when I lay on it along with the mattress, it seems fairly comfortable, the topper is soft, along with my medium/firm mattress.
The topper says 5cm, it does go pretty thin when you squish it down, but it’s definitely made an improvement, I can hardly feel my springs.
I can’t give an honest review because I haven’t slept in it yet.
It fits the small double well, it has the elasticated corners to put around your mattress.
It comes in a handy bag which you can use for storage.
