On the date given, on time, well packed and looks a pretty good piece of kit once I’ve cracked the ability to piece it together! It is certainly no 5 minute job especially when they say 5 hours! Materials seem good but feel I need to improve my planned base as that within the shed materials is anything but rigid. So, not yet up but on first sight it looks good. Surprisingly good! Was really worried when I opened the boxes, as the metal looked very thin and flimsy. But once it was all out together, it is very strong and sturdy. Good size too. First of all, I read previous reviews before ordering and the main complaint is that the instructions are difficult to understand or inaccurate. After receiving the shed, I found the instructions very intuitive. They are on A5 so quite small but as long as you test fit the pieces before fixing parts together, you will see pretty quickly if the orientation is incorrect. If you are unsure, read ahead a couple of pages and everything should make sense. Assembled on my own in a few hours, and really happy with the quality of the shed. If you think you don't have room for storage, think again. The attractive Manor 4x6 is a narrow yet durable shed designed to fit neatly into the small space alongside your home. It has a weather-resistant, double-wall construction with an integrated floor panel to keep items dry and dirt-free. Its ceiling is high enough to let you move around in comfort, it has built-in air ventilation, a fixed window for natural light, and a lockable door for added security.

At the discounted price, this shed could not be missed. It is somewhat fiddly to put together and you do need a second person to help position the sides and (especially) roof. It is essential to build the shed on a firm, dead level base. We used old paving slabs which we drilled at each corner to secure with masonry bolts and penny washers. The hardest part of the build was putting the roof on - it needs a good press home before securing with screws. I've finished my shed by laying some spare laminate floor pieces to reinforce the plastic floor but you could use sterling board to 'beef it up' if you are planning to store heavier items like lawn mowers, rotovators etc. I've also used mesh to manage the risk of insects entering via the vents. Builders foam injected into the internal corners where the roof meets the sides is my next mission but I'm putting a frame with bench top and shelves at the back to max out the storage. Others have said instructions could be better (agreed) but we had a trial build before we started and worked out that it was essential to note the labels which tell you which bits face inwards/outwards. Good shed for the price paid. The only thing was the assembly process was very difficult. There was no manual step by step guide to build the shed. Delivery: Ordered Sunday evening and arrived Monday lunchtime: extremely quick. Construction: Form other reviews I thought it would be a nightmare, but it was straightforward & simple. Lay out all materials and read all instructions carefully (including having a solid/level foundation to build from). There are a few tricky bits- namely the last roof panel corner which is hard to snap in place (I had to pry it in using a flat-head screwdriver with a bit of local damage to the plastic which settled back). Vast majority was a 1-person job, I only had to ask my wife a couple of times for a few moments. Recommend using a drill for most of the self-tapping screws into the plastic panelling as there are a lot. Overall it took me around 6/7hrs so allow a full day shift. Product: Overall I’m very happy with the quality of the shed. It is sturdier than I anticipated (of course not as much as a wooden shed but certainly strong enough for the sheltered area I’ve placed it). For the price I paid I am delighted with the purchase.. First of all, I read previous reviews before ordering and the main complaint is that the instructions are difficult to understand or inaccurate. After receiving the shed, I found the instructions very intuitive. They are on A5 so quite small but as long as you test fit the pieces before fixing parts together, you will see pretty quickly if the orientation is incorrect. If you are unsure, read ahead a couple of pages and everything should make sense. Assembled on my own in a few hours, and really happy with the quality of the shed.
