Great quality item, much more sturdy and heavy that I was expecting. Was very easy to put together and fits perfectly in the hallway. I used some double sided Velcro strips to hold down the seat cushion and used some rubber matting as a drawer protector as will be using it to hold keys. I have put two pairs of size 10 shoes in the largest compartment and there is plenty of room. The smaller shelf is good for smaller shoes or flipflops/sliders. Overall, very happy with the purchase. The build quality on this is excellent — solid MDF, strong frame, nothing feels cheap or flimsy. The cushion has a good amount of padding too which you don’t always get. Very well packaged! Instructions are clear. It took me about 3 hrs to put together, but keep in mind that I had no help and I’m Type A!! I gave it 4 stars bc it could be more sturdy and I would prefer actual knobs over the push spring closure. I am still trying to get the doors to line up right. That’s always a task when it’s not pre-assembled. The color is a tad bit different from stock photo. Also know that not all the shelves are adjustable so if you plan to adjust them go ahead and do so while you are assembling it. This is bc you screw the shelves in from the backside of the cabinet. It will be a pain to adjust after the fact. Overall it’s a very pretty piece and offers plenty of space for shoe storage etc. I also store my porch flags in here since it’s near the front door..
