They are nice and simple, clean looking shoe holders. They were very easy to install. I was a little concern with the shape the box was in with its fragile stickers, but there was styrofoam inside the box that kept everything safe. This shoe rack was ok. We needed something to reduce the clutter of shoes in our garage and it did just that. A few things that weren’t great is that the wood is pretty fragile. I bought to fit mounted on the slanted bottom of my back entryway closet. It fits perfect and installed easily. It appears as pictured and adorable. My issue however is how far away the bars start from the wall. This causes kids shoes to fall through. It probably wouldn't be an issue if I didn't install it on an angle. Not worth returning. These shoe racks are perfect, exactly what I wanted for my small space. They are very easy to assemble and hang. Because they are mainly for my use Im a female with smaller shoes than a man. I modified them by cutting an inch off the side pieces and drilled new holes for the screws. I then used a stain marker on the end that was cut. Now, my shoes fit perfectly and wont fall through. I was so excited to get this, but I have to say, assembly is not easy. The picture included to assist with assembly is clear enough, however, all the holes need to line up. It is curious that on the instructions each piece has a letter to identify it, but the pieces themselves do not have a letter. So, what is the point? The end holes for the boot poles did not seem to line up until I realized the shorter screws used on the side panels were a little too long and impeded the longer screw from going through the frame. Lesson learned, loosen all the side panel screws, put the poles on, retighten the side panels. Once assembled it was OK, but not all poles were drilled to easily accept the screws.
