Excellent service from Wayfair and brilliant product from Keter. This might be a longer review than I'd normally share but I'm hoping it will help someone. You can be the judge! So, my transaction with Wayfair was seemless and the item arrived within a few days, delivered by a courteous team of 3; 1 supervisor and 2 labourers. So, tip number one. Get the guys to lay the box down very close to where you want to assemble the shed. It's a very heavy box at 74kg so, even for two people, they need to be fit and strong and have long arms! The build quality of the Keter Premier Jumbo is really very good. Although the main panels are plastic, these are reinforced with metal bracing channels that contribute to making it a very strong structure. A few things to note that will pay dividends if you follow them. (I learned the hard way!). 1. Make sure that the area that you are going to be building the unit on is perfectly flat and level. Seriously, if it's out by a few millimetres, it could cause you issues in aligning panels etc. You could use slabs for the base but I went for a sand base, cellular grid and pea gravel to fill it up. 5bags of sharp sand and 10bags of gravel. 2. The instructions are completely graphic, are very good, but you do need to pay close attention to the drawings, especially when it comes to alignment of channels on plastic panels. There can be very slight differences in each end of the metalwork, so make sure you know which end is which! 3. It's definitely a two-person assembly for part of the work but a lot can be done by one person. I'd suggest breaking the 42 steps down into 'micro-kits'. In other words, before you start, lay out what's needed for each of the stages, so that you are not having to revisit the box several times. 4. It's easy to overtighten some of the screws that penetrate the plastic panels, if you are using a cordless screwdriver. If you are in doubt, stop before the last few turns and do them with a manual Phillips screwdriver. Once built, the unit is solid and the hydrogas struts that assist in lifting the lid are a classy finish. They make a nice 'swooshing' noise as they lift the lid and are a reassurance that the lid is not is not going to come down on your hand. Finally, I really enjoyed building this unit, along with my wife. Patience is the key. You may have to retrace your steps once or twice but the end result is a snug, watertight container that looks good too! (I've attached some pics to show the sequence and end result.). Mark. Delivery: Ordered Sunday evening and arrived Monday lunchtime: extremely quick. Construction: Form other reviews I thought it would be a nightmare, but it was straightforward & simple. Lay out all materials and read all instructions carefully (including having a solid/level foundation to build from). There are a few tricky bits- namely the last roof panel corner which is hard to snap in place (I had to pry it in using a flat-head screwdriver with a bit of local damage to the plastic which settled back). Vast majority was a 1-person job, I only had to ask my wife a couple of times for a few moments. Recommend using a drill for most of the self-tapping screws into the plastic panelling as there are a lot. Overall it took me around 6/7hrs so allow a full day shift. Product: Overall I’m very happy with the quality of the shed. It is sturdier than I anticipated (of course not as much as a wooden shed but certainly strong enough for the sheltered area I’ve placed it). For the price I paid I am delighted with the purchase.. A Keter shed provides ample airflow by having specifically placed vents but, as with any shed, condensation can form. If you do see signs of condensation here are hints to help you to protect the contents of your shed. To prevent condensation inside your shed, wherever possible, do not allow any excess moisture inside the shed. To do this try and ensure all equipment inside the shed such as camping gear or sporting goods are cleaned and dried before storing them in the shed. Try to let as much air inside the shed on cooler, dry days, by opening the shed doors. This will help the air circulation inside the shed and will drop the humidity level inside. Take note of the 4x corner panels and the dimensions - the 2 sides are different widths so if you don't get them the correct way round, it won't fit together properly. I would not recommend this storage cabinet. The overall quality is very poor and it feels cheap from the moment you start assembling it. Several panels were warped, making the assembly process frustrating and much more difficult than it should have been. Once assembled, the cabinet feels unstable and flimsy. The doors do not align properly, and the lid does not open and close smoothly. It certainly does not give confidence that it will hold up well outdoors over time. The product photos make it look sturdy and premium, but the reality is very different. For the price, I expected something much more durable and better designed. First of all, I read previous reviews before ordering and the main complaint is that the instructions are difficult to understand or inaccurate. After receiving the shed, I found the instructions very intuitive. They are on A5 so quite small but as long as you test fit the pieces before fixing parts together, you will see pretty quickly if the orientation is incorrect. If you are unsure, read ahead a couple of pages and everything should make sense. Assembled on my own in a few hours, and really happy with the quality of the shed.
