I would not recommend this storage cabinet. The overall quality is very poor and it feels cheap from the moment you start assembling it. Several panels were warped, making the assembly process frustrating and much more difficult than it should have been. Once assembled, the cabinet feels unstable and flimsy. The doors do not align properly, and the lid does not open and close smoothly. It certainly does not give confidence that it will hold up well outdoors over time. The product photos make it look sturdy and premium, but the reality is very different. For the price, I expected something much more durable and better designed. Unfortunately we a had a few dents in ours but company resolved it straight away but with anything things can be damaged in transport, wayfair and the company sorted it as soon as they received my complaint and proof 2 days in all that's so good. Solid piece of furniture and all the parts fit well. One snag was that I felt that the hinge lid opened uncontrollably to the vertical position and then it was quite difficult to close it. Once assembled it is great and remarkably sturdy…however it is deffo a 2 person job as has so many parts…screws…nuts etc. and can’t be done by one person…Also the instructions are rather complicated in places. Overall though a great shed for the price and exactly what I wanted but if hiring people to erect it…( as I did) it’s a slow time consuming assembly which will you will need to add to the cost so worth considering a pre assembled shed would be more cost effective and easier….. Really nice little shed. Relatively easy to assemble. Disappointed that the door isn’t lockable. Some of the self tapping screws are holding two very thin sheets together so very easy to strip as there isn’t enough thickness to tighten sufficiently. You just have to be very careful.. Anonymous. A foundation kit will enable you to lay the flooring of your choice we recommend wooden boards or concrete slabs to give you a solid and secure floor. Foundation kits are optional, however, if fitted, the recommendation is a base is installed. The Foundation kit and base are not included in this product.
