The parasol cover has been a sound investment! We have had several downpours since I bought it to keep my new three metre parasol protected. It is made from a lightweight fabric that does not allow moisture to penetrate. The zip, toggle fastening and fibreglass rod make it easy to use. I can leave my parasol in the stand and don't have to take it apart and store inside when wet weather is predicted. I am 5' tall (vertically challenged), but can easily remove/replace the cover over my parasol because the fibreglass rod keeps the cover stiff enough to slide over the parasol, what a great design feature.
