Great storage box. It's definitely waterproof, we've had heavy rains and everything inside is bone dry. Took quite a bit of effort to build (it recommends two people, I was alone) with assembling the lid being the most taxing part. The materials feel flimsy on their own, but are sturdy once constructed. Remember to remove the clear protective coverings from the panels _before_ you build it!

The box is very spacious and looks elegant. BUT assembling it has been a nightmare. I would purchase it again but next time I would let my husband putting it together and I go out with my girlfriends :-)
