Awesome

I bought this Light & Easy Berry Brights Iron a few weeks ago and would note: It is very lightweight and comfortable to hold. (I have v painful hands and wrist) The Iron heats up quickly. The Soleplate is very, very smooth. The Power Cord Length is average, but anyone who finds it to be too short for their needs, could use an extension lead. There was no 2 "newness" smell at all on first use. The Heat Settings seem to run much cooler than any other Irons I have ever had. I find it slows down the ironing process. You can see the Water Level in the Tank in a good light. The Iron sits safely on the Heel when not in use. The Temperature Control is easy to use as it is on the front, top of the Iron. All Previous Irons that I have had, the Temperature Control has been on the main body, underneath the handle. The position on this Iron, I think is better for everyone, whether young or old. I have not used the Steam Function, which is why I have not made any comments. I am not a fan of steam ironing. Russell Hobbs products are reliable and an established household name. The User Manual was clear and easy to follow.
