Seriously poor. It might be described as cedar wood but it is light and feels like balsa wood. A small section of the top rack broke as I tried (gently) to push it into place. I then made the mistake of trying to salvage it with a small screw, which caused the supporting piece to split. I suspect it won’t last 5 minutes as a shoe rack. They say you get what you pay for but even at £17 I don’t think I did.
