Montreux Oak Solid Wood Floating Shelf

The floating shelf is made from a mixture of wild and natural turkey oak. The wood features striking colour contrasts, going from light, through to red and finally to dark or almost black. The floating shelf has a pronounced crack effect. This is mainly down to the solid turkey oak wood. In addition to the varied colour scheme, the wood also features characteristic, deep growth cracks. These are caused by tension in the wood while the tree is growing.
