3x Harbour Housewares Modern Floating Wall Shelves - 80cm - Black (Set of 6)

Great looking thick and chunky shelves, I bought these to store all my cleaning and laundry products, strong and sturdy and they hold a lot of weight if distributed evenly, easy to follow instruction and fixed in no time. A great buy and would recommend to Family and Friends. Thank you

After purchasing this item based on the (set of 6) advertising the set arrived as a set of 3 and four days later Wayfair have said it was an advertising issue. The 3 shelves were put up as I waited for the issue to be resolved which has resulted in me having to purchase another set in order to be able to complete the project despite buying a set of 6. The shelves themselves has decent metal hardware to attach the wooden shelves into and the finish on the wood okay. The problem is once in place there are 2 fixing screws that join the metal bars inside the shelf to the shelf itself. While screwing these in the shelf began to bow and expand with a popping noise. The only way to stop the expanded bowing of the shelf was to unscrew or remove the screws so the shelf looked even but then took away to security of the shelf being safely in place. Inside the shelf is hollow and therefore doesn't really hug the metal bars enough to create stability and there is movement of all 3 shelves despite the hardware being attached to the wall securely and not moving at all. I wouldn't recommend these and have had a much better experience with similar product purchased from B n M.
