Our rug arrived ahead of time, it is good quality and is settling well. We kept it upside down for a full 24hours before turning it over & this worked a treat. See the picture, it was just hoovered after turning over. The creases we seen in previous reviews have not been an issue in our experience. Good price for the size! I would highly recommend.. Kel. The Gabbeh Lola rug is a handcrafted rug that features radiant colors. You can usually recognize Gabbeh rugs by the coarse weaving technique and the animal motifs that are worked into the rug. The sheep's and goat's wool is processed with natural and strong dyes. The Gabbeh is one of the rugs that were made by nomads and used for several purposes. Despite the coarse weave / loom, the Gabbeh rug is very soft and fits wonderfully into the bedroom, hallway and living room. The popularity of Gabbeh rugs increased enormously in the 90s.

Bring the tones and textures of nature into your home with a natural, authentic woven jute rug.

Great rug .. Edita. Emsworth, GB. Thu Aug 20 2026

Please note: This is a natural fibre rug. Depending on the batch of wool, the colour and pattern always differ slightly from the illustration. Thanks to its calm, neutral colours, this flat-woven wool rug will bring a lot of cosiness into your home. This hand-woven rug is very simple and looks good in any room thanks to its natural colour scheme. It is very easy to care for and can be vacuumed with a flat nozzle. When you use the rug for the first time, ruffles may form. Please do not pull them out, but instead cut off the overhanging wool threads with scissors. To do the Rug a favour and extend its lifespan, the rug should be used on both sides. In addition, the rug should be turned occasionally. You should use an underlay on smooth floors.

Beautiful rug. Such good quality and love the flecks of colour in the rug. Great quality.. Lydia. GB. Sat Aug 08 2026

The handwoven plain wool rug is an absolute trendsetter in the field of natural living. This sustainable rug is made of high-quality tumbled virgin sheep's wool in the pile and the indestructible jute core not only scores with its natural, renewable raw materials but also impresses with its high durability. Since the spun wool of the alpine carpet is washed in a special process, the horny scales of the wool hair get caught and thus form the typical abrasion-resistant surface of the carpet. The wool remains pleasantly soft and non-slip but is more abrasion-resistant and lint-free than with a cut pile. This means that the alpine rug can be used on both sides and is not only ideal for the living room, dining room, and bedroom but it can also be used in heavily used areas of the house, such as the hallway or children's room. Despite its compact surface, the Alpen rug is suitable for underfloor heating. The high-quality virgin sheep's wool in the pile also helps to improve the room climate. This rug is still woven by hand according to the old master craftsmanship in Greece. Therefore, special dimensions can also be made on request. This plain rug is available in 12 different, harmonious colours, so you can find the right colour complement for the floor with the alpine rug. Since the wool always absorbs colour in different intensities, slight colour nuances between the colour and the natural tone of the wool are preserved during weaving and fulling. As a result, the monochrome of the alpine rug looks subtle but never gets boring. The alpine wool rug is an ultra-modern rug that puts you in a good mood!

This is beautiful, proper wool rug and feels like it’s been well made. Bella. Clay Cross Chesterfield, GB. Mon Sep 07 2026
