About This Product

The classic geometric motifs of flat weave are equally at home in casual, contemporary, and traditional settings. We use pure wool to best recreate the original texture and soft colours of antiques prized by collectors. This weave is native to India, and every step in our production process faithfully follows the traditions of local artisans. The results are natural, and with wonderful nuances in pattern and tone.

Features

Note: please be aware that actual colours may vary from those shown on your screen. The item may ship compressed and take up to a month to lay flat. If the rug features a woven design, shedding is natural and may occur.
Due to the difference in monitor colours, some rug colours may vary slightly. We try to represent all rug colours as accurately as possible.
Due to the handmade weaving technique used to make this item, the final dimensions of the rug may slightly vary.

This rug looks ok but it’s like a scratchy thick blanket that you put on the floor. It’s woven. Not a typical rug. We’ve had this thing on the floor for a good 6 weeks now and it’s still curled at the edges. We bought a feltrubber underpayment so it doesn’t move around on our hardwood floors.

The size and color work well in our master bedroom. It looks great against our hardwood floors and provides an added coziness to the room!
