It looks shiny from certain angles which makes the whole rug look white. It’s made of a cheap plastic material to give that effect. Not the thickest of rugs, design is nice in a dark room but not if there’s a lot of light

This rug is not at all like the picture. It has an odd iridescent shine to it. So at one angle it looks like the picture, then at another angle it looks stark white. I will be returning.
