Striped Indoor / Outdoor Area Rug

A little brighter than I should have picked but is softer under foot than the average outdoor rug.

I bought this rug based on the fact that reviewers said that the rug was true to the colors in the description. Sadly, I did not have the same experience. In the online photos, the background color looks very white and cheerful. The background color of the rug I received was NOT white, but looked e-x-a-c-t-l-y like the color of a burlap bag. In fact, it had the same texture as a burlap bag. In order to return it, I needed to pay $32 for shipping. I protested, but there was no negotiating with the agent. During the return process, it gave a choice to either pay $32 for me to drop it off at a FedEx drop off or $36 to have FedEx pick it up. Since I have a little car and the rug was 8'x10', I chose to pay the extra to have it picked up. But, when I went to print the label, the instructions made it clear that I was going to have to drop it off! The option to have it picked up was gone. We somehow manged to get it into the car and couldn't wait to get this ugly thing out of our lives. It was my first unpleasant experience with Wayfair, so I was severely disappointed.

My husband and I both love this rug -- the colors are vibrant and colorful (just as shown on the website). The rug fits our space well and the price was very reasonable.

Very disappointed with this rug. Nowhere in the description does it stay that it is an outdoor rug. I was expecting a plush indoor rug.
