Runner Niemeyer Floral Area Rug

I wasn’t sure if this rug was going to be the right shade of colour I was looking for, from the picture shown on the website. But when we unpackaged it and rolled it out, it was perfect and exactly what we were looking for. As you can see from my photo there are a couple of ripples which I’m sure will soon flatten out quite soon. The pile is short but soft to the touch. We were lucky to see it on the website as we had looked at hundreds of different rugs on other websites and we didn't think we were ever going to find what we were looking for. So thank you Wayfair for having this one on your website

This is OK for the money except for a couple of things - several days on the rug still smells a bit and there is an unforeseen grey curved narrow stripe in the pattern which is not evident in the website photos. Also the crimson colour is nowhere near as rich as I had hoped. I change my rugs annually because of my dog so it’s fine.

It arrived about 4 days after ordering…it looks ok in my bedroom…I do have padding under it and the backing works well on hardwood floors. The colors are more dull and not as vibrant as it shows in the picture online. It also has terrible wrinkle lines from where it was rolled up! I am hoping they will relax out over time.

I returned this partly because I changed my color scheme, but also bc I expected a DEEP, true red, and this was muted with different colored fibers running through). Not bad for the price, just not what I anticipated.

I was thrilled that this carpet was available NINE years after i originally bought it. Dogs have taken a toll so i wanted the same one to replace it. However the quality is definitely less. It’s lighter weight and the feel even isn’t quite the same. I’ll be really surprised if this one holds up for 9 years!!!!
